First quiz at INSEAD over

Ok.. ok. I promised that I would write every week but I was not able to do so. It is quite crazy most of the days and we are told that it only gets worse..

I am heading to Frankfurt this weekend to celebrate my birthday at Terry's parents house. Imagine my surprise when I saw this morning at the Kagoo website some old pictures of my prior birthdays.. Thank you Chittappa. I do miss you all. It has been a while since we talked.

We had our first quiz today. The library was packed yesterday night until pretty late. We had some parties last week. It is so much fun to meet people from different countries. For eg, last S
aturday, I met people from Russia, Portugal, India, Nigeria, Netherlands, China and Taiwan. They sang some songs from each country and it was pretty cool to hear all this. It was a nice BBQ and I am looking forward to more such parties.

This week at INSEAD is Lebanese week. All week, we are being exposed to Lebanese culture. Tomorrow night is the Lebanese party and I expect it to be a blast. We watched a movie by Henry Fonda called 12 angry men. This was for a class called "Leading People and Groups". It was a very interesting movie about people in general
and how each one's background influences their thinking.

The rest of the week looks promising. After a few classes and a one-on-one career reflection session, Friday is a short day. I then fly to Frankfurt from Paris and I will be back on Monday.

Meanwhile...Have a wonderful life...

hEY pAUL! BONJOUR! I figured I would check on my world-traveling engineer pal and take a break here from working on a costa rica project.....and it sounds like your INSEAD experience is working out well so far. Everyday must be exciting, and I will try and keep tabs on you over there. Study hard, eat well, and make the most of it! -Jason PS - our daughter turns 2 in just 5 weeks - and my wife is already planning a combo halloween / b-day party...
